The High School Attached to CNU was founded in 1914 by a government official who was devoted to education. Different students, both poor and rich, could enter the school. Later, the school merged with a missionary school founded by the French Anglicans. The school advocated the co-existence of multiple cultures and the full development of students.  That is to promote physical, intellectual and moral development, which are regarded as the official policy of this establishment. Over the last one hundred years or so, the location of the school has changed several times. However, the principles that have been passed down from generation to generation still persist. Nowadays, the school features some of the best teachers and advanced facilities in Beijing which guarantee the excellent education standards our students and their parents come to expect. In addition, while taking a stroll around the campus, you will experience the aura of culture, modernity and knowledge. At present our school acts as host to a number of students from all around the world,  studying alongside our Chinese students.
